February 15, 2023Let's play! Northeast State esports Bears roar into a new seasonDid you know Northeast State fields a host of esports gaming teams? Esports generated roughly $243 million in market revenue during 2021 while the global video game market value exceeded $178 billion, according to Statista data company.After a succesful first season last fall, the Northeast State Bears roared into the spring esports season in February. Gamers joined the melee in new games of Madden 23; NBA2K, and Mario Kart. The team's first season of gamers returned to play Overwatch; League of Legends; Halo; Super Smash Brothers; and Rocket League among others.
