The Source Church episodes

  • Distracted

We can’t let distractions cause us to miss what God actually has intended for us. Both in this Christmas season and in our lives in general.

  • "The Source’s Fingerprint"

    God has been so faithful!

when we gauge one month to the next, you may not see much change, but when you look back over the years you realize how much God has truly accomplished!

As much as we love to look back at God’s faithfulness, its also a great day to be reminded of who God made us to be as a church, and what he’s called us to. Not just for the last 17 years, but the many decades still ahead.

Fingerprints/DNA - reminds us each that God made us EACH individual - that no two of us are exactly alike.

Same with church - Though we all have the same call to reach people and proclaim Jesus, we each have a unique DNA code in how we achieve that.

  • Unstuck Part 2

Last week we talked about how anger and hatred coming out needs to be replaced with forgiveness and love.

Life provides the cup, YOU choose how to fill it. Today let's work towards filling our cups with gratitude, forgiveness, joy, words of affirmation, resilience, positivity; and kindness, gentleness and love for others.

Today we talk about switching from anger, fear and hatred to thankfulness.

  • Unstuck Part 1

We see a lot of people totally stuck in emotions and anger! They’re fearful, hating and angry. Wether it’s the election, or a personal situation or relationship.

We want to get you unstuck

  • God and Government Part 3

    Neil Strauss said…

The reason facts don’t change most peoples opinions is because most people don’t use facts to form their opinions. They use their opinions to form their facts.

We must think theologically, and not emotionally or even logically.

  • God and Government Part 2

“Our job as Pastors is not to cheer you on all the time, but to irritate the carnality and flesh things that are inside of us.”

    James Ward Jr.

Truth is hard to find right now - so we MUST go to the Word.

We shouldn’t be playing for one team or the other. We need to be KINGDOM Voters. NO allegiance to a team, allegiance ONLY to the Kingdom of God.

Put first the kingdom of God - or HIS way of doing things…

Kingdom voting elevates God’s principles and ways of doing things over our own preferences & desires. This election should not be about personalities, or even a person. It’s about having Godly principles established into Government that could last for decades to come.

  • God and Government Part 1

First of all - let’s clarify our role in this. We stand as your pastors, and not just as two people who have opinions on this.

This is our God given job description….

    2 Timothy 4:2-5 AMP

Preach the word [as an official messenger]; be ready when the time is right and even when it is not [keep your sense of urgency, whether the opportunity seems favorable or unfavorable, whether convenient or inconvenient, whether welcome or unwelcome]; correct [those who err in doctrine or behavior], warn [those who sin], exhort and encourage [those who are growing toward spiritual maturity], with inexhaustible patience and [faithful] teaching. For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction [that challenges them with God’s truth]; but wanting to have their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own desires and to support the errors they hold, and will turn their ears away from the truth and will wander off into myths and man-made fictions [and will accept the unacceptable]. But as for you, be clear-headed in every situation [stay calm and cool and steady], endure every hardship [without flinching], do the work of an evangelist, fulfill [the duties of] your ministry. '

About The Source Church

From the publisher's feed

The Source Church began in 2007 in the home of Pastors Ralph and Joanne Hoehne. Since then the vision of the Source Church has been "to Love and Serve People to Life." The Source Church is still focused on that goal and has expanded that goal to those in Canada with the opening of our Winnipeg campus in 2014.
