In life we probably all deal with different kinds of strongholds. Our mind probably goes immediately to the hard things.

- habits, addictions, fear, family issues, sickness, etc

But there are 2 kinds of strongholds we need to understand, in order to get free from the negative.

Why we do what we do: Our vision:

To see every life radically transformed by the power and presence of God.

But….Transformation and Growth requires change!

We don’t have to fear what God is about to do, or where He is taking us! God is a God who has a GOOD future for those who trust Him.

Your value is not in the past you came out of, but in the future God has planned and set before you. So we MUST be willing to dare to step into that future!!!

The Moses generation experienced tribulation trying to escape something. The Joshua generation endured persecution to embrace their promise! Not all persecution is equal! One is fear-based and the other was promise driven. One was running FROM and one was running TO.

Fear is a bigger enemy to you than you realize!

Though Darryl was extremely successful in his career, his personal life was plagued with addictions, abuse, divorces, cancer, jail-time and other issues. Darryl finally found true redemption and restoration in Jesus Christ.

Today, Darryl's purpose and passion is serving the Lord Jesus Christ by speaking a message of hope and helping others transform their lives through the power of the gospel. Darryl travels the country speaking and bringing a message of hope and restoration in Christ.

Instead of running FROM all the pain and mess, we must run TO the safety of God’s presence in the middle of all the mess, by anchoring himself to WHO God is, and not just WHAT God does.

He has promised us victory. We can run to that!

Running TO is an intentional focus on who God is and a steadfast trust and confidence that God will unconditionally give you refuge and peace. That He is a good God who is faithful.

Running FROM your situation will never fix your situation. Running TO what God has for you will always give you victory in due season.

Many times we can do all the right things. We are praying, speaking scripture, tithing, counseling etc. But if the reason we are doing those is based on fear of losing or failure, we have the wrong foundation. The foundation to get victory always has to be based on faith of running TO what God has.
