When is prayer needing to be accompanied by action?

Incessant evil keeps oppressing people in our communities, THOSE are the meek that will inherit the earth. When is it enough?

These people deserve more than our thoughts and prayers, they deserve our action… because God demands it of us.

We have to stop allowing our worldly perspective to reflect on our perfect creator.

Mother’s Day can be painful. And Ken knows that women have often not had a proper place in society, especially in Biblical times, when they looked at as less than men.

But God describes himself as a mother hen, protecting her brood under her wing.

John said the Word was made flesh. That was blasphemy to some people. But the Word being made flesh is what makes Easter the miracle that it is.

If we release the sin the holds us down to the savior that took it, we don’t have to carry it any more.

That’s Easter. That’s the gospel.

The phrase "He descended into hell" was removed from the Apostles' Creed a long time ago, and a listener wants to know the reason why.
