Straight from the headlines of 2002 comes the story of Josephine Gray whose three lovers were killed, over time, under mysterious circumstances.

Some say she was a witch who murdered all three—but they dared not say it under oath.

The story is about an Alabama preacher, Willie Maxwell, who was murdered at one of his alleged victims' funeral in 1977.

Maxwell had been suspected of murdering several family members in order to collect insurance money.

The song, which she sang quite often, warned that when she died, the whole town would "go" with her.

In September of 1915, a deadly hurricane hits Frenier on the day of Julia's funeral. The townspeople become terrified when they recall her song.

To this day, the question remains--was her song a prophesy of impending disaster, or was it a curse?
