2022 will truly be a year to remember for the Southside Show because of the many innovators we’ve featured.

From dedicated local government professionals to trailblazing entrepreneurs right here in Atlanta, these remarkable people have graciously shown us just how the Southside continues to be a region of excellence, abundance, and promise.

And so as we prepare to say hello to 2023, we look back one last time at these very guests we’ve had as a fitting epilogue to the year that was!

Around 80% of Black people pass on without a will in place. For financial expert Jini Thornton, this is a significant concern that impacts the Southside community since it puts the Black locals at risk of missing out on the opportunity to build a life of abundance.

In her words, a will is the “gift of order.” And that’s exactly the driving force behind Black Women Will: an annual free estate planning event of her financial literacy education company, Thank Me Later, Inc.

Whether it’s real estate, retirement funds, or other legal assets, Black Women Will aims to help Black women of the Southside get their legal affairs in order, so their dependents can secure generational wealth.
