  • You Are Not Becoming Someone New. You Are Revealing Who You Already Are.

What if the woman you’ve been working so hard to become is already here?

You are not becoming someone new. You are becoming safe enough to reveal who you already are.

In this episode of the Sovereign Leader Podcast, Jen and Joy explore this powerful statement, channelled by Jen from Goddess Isis, and what it really means for our spiritual journeys, personal growth and sovereign leadership.

We talk about the endless pursuit of becoming a better version of ourselves, the vulnerability of allowing ourselves to be truly seen, and why learning to trust ourselves matters far more than waiting for the world around us to feel safe.

Because the fear of being judged, misunderstood or rejected doesn’t necessarily disappear as we grow. But our ability to remain anchored in who we are, even when others don’t understand or approve, can change everything.

We also explore the gifts and challenges of being highly sensitive, the difference between pushing ourselves into discomfort and allowing our sovereign selves to lead us through uncertainty, and what becomes possible when we finally drop the shields we’ve spent years building.

What if the very things you’ve been doing to protect yourself are the things preventing the world from seeing who you really are?

And before we finish, Jen shares a channelled question that might just change how you see yourself, your fears and what you’re ready to allow into your life.

  • The Sovereign Leader Podcast

It sounds like a simple question. Until you realise the question itself assumes there’s a separation.

In this episode of The Sovereign Leader Podcast, Jen and Joy explore one of the more uncomfortable edges of spiritual self-leadership - the ways we can unknowingly hand our authority over to Spirit, guides, intuition and even the coaches and mentors who claim to be receiving guidance on our behalf.

We talk about the evolution from “Spirit told me to” to recognising spiritual guidance as an invitation. Something to meet with your own discernment, rather than an instruction you’re required to follow.

Because “I choose. I decide.” doesn’t mean you’re disconnected from Spirit.

It doesn’t mean you’re doing everything alone.

It might actually be one of the deepest expressions of co-creation.

We explore self-witnessing, learning to become completely raw with Spirit, why there’s no fast-forward or “quantum leap” through the spiritual path, and the importance of noticing the quieter feelings and nudges we can so easily dismiss.

We also get into the less comfortable bit - what it can cost to choose your own authority when fear, resistance and some extremely convincing excuses arrive to persuade you otherwise.

Because perhaps the relationship was never supposed to be a linear, step by step of guidance and action.

Perhaps it’s something far more intimate, circular and alive than that.

We’d love to hear what comes up for you in this episode - share in the comments below.

  • Who are you Willing to be?

We’re slap bang in the middle of eclipse season - but this isn’t an episode about astrology.

It’s about what happens when the energy around us invites us to question who we’ve been, who we think we should be, and who we’re actually willing to become.

In this episode of The Sovereign Leader Podcast, Jen and Joy explore the self-leadership invitations emerging between the Leo solar eclipse and the upcoming Pisces lunar eclipse: identity, authenticity, belonging, emotional mastery, surrender and trust.

What happens when becoming more authentically yourself means risking the approval of the people around you? Or risking your self-acceptance?

Can you remain anchored in your sovereignty when you’re the only person in the room who believes what you believe?

And how do you know whether you’re practising emotional mastery or really controlling the parts of yourself you’ve learned might threaten your belonging?

Jen shares a recent experience that challenged her own sense of inner authority and explores what it means to feel the wound and remain the sovereign leader - staying open enough to question yourself without abandoning yourself in the process.

The conversation then moves into surrender - not as giving up, handing your power over to the Universe or becoming passive, but releasing the fear-driven need to control what happens next. Jen and Joy explore the surprising freedom that becomes available when we stop gripping so tightly.

Because perhaps becoming more of who you truly are doesn’t require you to try harder.

Perhaps it requires you to release your grip.

  • Held Without Losing Yourself

What if the strongest thing you could do wasn’t hold it all together, but allow yourself to be held?

For many high-achieving women, independence has become a badge of honour. You’re the one everyone relies on. The one who always finds a way. The one who carries the emotional load without asking for help.

But what if that isn’t strength?

In this honest conversation, Jen and Joy Schulz explore why so many women struggle to receive support, how hyper-independence quietly disconnects us from ourselves, and why being held doesn’t diminish your leadership—it deepens it.

    Together they discuss:

    * What it really means to be “held” (and what it doesn’t mean)

    * Why strong women often find it hardest to receive support

    * The hidden difference between being supported and becoming dependent

    * How allowing yourself to be held can strengthen your self-trust

    * The distinction between sovereign support and trauma dumping

    * Why the role of a Priestess is never to create followers, but to help women lead themselves

This episode is an invitation to rethink what strength looks like and to consider whether the very thing you’ve been resisting might be the thing that sets you free.

Summer Solstice & The Truth You Can No Longer Ignore

In this Summer Solstice episode of The Sovereign Leader Podcast, Jen Thomas and Joy Schultz explore the powerful turning point that arrives at the midpoint of the year.

This is not a conversation about resetting goals or becoming “better” by the end of the year.

    It’s a deeper exploration of:

    - Truths this year has already revealed

    - Patterns we unconsciously collapse back into

    - Tension between awareness and embodied change

    - The courage it takes to lead yourself into the unknown instead of negotiating with the old versions.

    Together they reflect on:

    - Nervous system safety and self-trust

    - The liminal space between old identity and new identity

    - Why awareness alone does not create real change

    - The pull toward comfort, predictability and control

    - The invitation of the Fire Horse year now

    - The small but powerful shifts that change the direction of an entire life.

This episode is a grounded and honest conversation about sovereignty, self-leadership and what it truly means to move forward without abandoning yourself in the process.

And at the end of the episode, Jen shares a powerful journal reflection to support you in identifying the truths you can no longer ignore and what you now choose to lead forward with.

  • The Sovereign Leader Podcast

In this episode of The Sovereign Leader Podcast, Joy and I dive into money and the sticky, emotional, deeply revealing relationship so many spiritual entrepreneurs and sensitive people have with it.

We explore the fear of receiving, over-giving, undercharging, comparison, jealousy, rejection, power, past-life patterns, financial trauma and why money can feel so unsafe even when we deeply desire more of it.

This isn’t a “money mindset” conversation.

It’s a raw, honest look at what happens when your worth, safety and ability to receive become tangled up with your bank account.

We talk about money as energy, money as relationship, and the shift from chasing and carrying pressure, to building the capacity to receive, hold and trust.

Because the real work isn’t just wanting more money.

It’s feeling safe enough to receive it.

    In this episode, we explore:

    * why money can feel unsafe for spiritual women

    * over-giving, undercharging and tying worth to income

    * comparison and secret jealousy of peers

    * the difference between chasing money and receiving it

    * money as energy, relationship and flow

    * building the capacity to hold more without collapsing under pressure

    Journal prompt:

If it felt completely safe for me to receive more money, power and support, what would I finally allow myself to stop carrying?

Episode 2: Being “too much” and the truth you were never taught

Welcome back to The Sovereign Leader Podcast, podcast for high-achieving spiritual women who are done performing and ready to lead from their own centre with anchored and embodied authority. Together, through raw, but grounded conversation, we intend to share what it truly means to lead yourself from sovereignty - especially when you've spent years managing everyone else's energy in order to feel safe and most likely in order to keep the peace.

In this episode, Joy and I dive into what it means to be labelled “too much” - too emotional, too sensitive, too expressive, too visible, too powerful.

Because the truth is, you weren't born believing that about yourself.

    You learned it.

We explore how old paradigm leadership taught so many of us to perform, mask, shrink, self-monitor and keep the peace in order to be accepted.

    This conversation is a reclamation.

A remembering that you are not too much. You may simply have been in rooms, relationships and environments that couldn't hold the fullness of who you are.

    In this episode, we explore:

    - why “too much” is learned

    - the cost of masking and self-policing

    - the difference between responding and reacting

    - why other people’s triggers are not your responsibility

    - what it means to stand in your truth without making yourself smaller.

If this episode stirred something in you (and we have a feeling it might have), we’d love to hear from you.

Come and share what’s come up for you - what you’re seeing differently, what you're now able to accept of yourself, and where you’re choosing yourself.

  • The Sovereign Leader Podcast

Welcome to the very first episode of The Sovereign Leader Podcast - a raw, grounded conversation for high-achieving spiritual women who are done performing, done shrinking, and ready to lead from their own centre with anchored, embodied authority.

Episode 1: Personal stories, sovereignty and the importance of choosing you

This is a conversation about coming home to yourself. About choosing yourself. About recognising that true leadership does not begin with leading others, it begins with being the leader of your own life.

In this opening episode, Joy and I share our own personal stories and the paths that brought us here.

Joy shares her journey from growing up in a fundamentalist Christian cult to finding freedom, spiritual reconnection and the path of the Priestess.

I share my own story of leaving a 20-year corporate career after burnout, reconnecting with my spiritual path and what it has meant to stop responding to life and start truly leading it. Including the slightly batshit bonkers chapter where I become a travelling cat sitter after being told, very clearly by my soul team, that it was time for me to lead.

Together, we explore what sovereignty really means in real life - not just in ritual, meditation or beautiful spiritual concepts, but in the everyday moments where you choose yourself and trust yourself.

If this episode stirred something in you, we’d lovely to hear from you. Come and share in the comments, or come and find us online.
