I'm launching a “secret” podcast experiment to test how discoverable audio podcasts are, publishing only on Apple Podcasts and avoiding YouTube because it feels too discoverable. He plans not to promote it through his social media, newsletter, or blog, and is curious how long it will take someone to find the show and reach out. He considers how naming and artwork might affect discovery and floats the idea of using a separate, untied social account to share episodes without linking back to his main profiles.
I also outline a core theme I'll explore: the “and” of life—living in the tension between seemingly opposite desires and worlds, like technology and raising children, spirituality and work, gaming and exercise, cleanliness and dog ownership, and introversion alongside the need for community.
