While there is no mention of how or when, a place where timeframes mean little, the story often starts with giving up. With being discouraged. With second-guessing and reacting to all the what ifs.

Most of us have second-guessed ourselves many times, usually out of fear built from past failures and disappointments. And most of the time, the road ahead looks a lot longer than we imagined when the idea first showed up.

There are no easy answers. Things are what they are sometimes, and that’s why all clocks keep moving forward to another day whether we’re ready or not. Dimly lit, smoky bars… sunrises and sunsets… they all feed the same quiet energy that helps you find your way through the rain, and you move on.

The story inside the story tells us this though: about the time you decide to give up is usually when everything is lining up. And then, and only then, do you realize it was never the rain slowing you down… it was time giving you the moment you weren’t ready for yet.

Remember, not everything delayed is denied, sometimes it’s just still becoming.
