Have you ever found yourself wondering where you took the wrong turn? Was it that fork in the road… should you have gone left instead of right? The roads can look the same. The scenery feels familiar, but something’s different. Déjà vu settles in, leaving you with that quiet feeling that you’ve been here before, and maybe you have.
The ancient Tiki leaders used to speak of “mirrors in the sky,” a way of describing those visions of the future. That subtle nudge that says if you keep walking the same path, then A) nothing will ever change… or B) something eventually will, and not in the way you hoped.
Sometimes, my friend, a change will simply do you good. Sometimes it’s long past time.
I know I talk about change a lot, but it truly is the most consistent thing in our lives, whether we acknowledge it or not. You can ignore the signs. You can pretend not to see the warning lights flickering ahead. And maybe… just maybe… nothing will change.
But what could possibly go wrong, right?
Remember, growth doesn’t happen at the fork in the road. It happens when you choose a direction and trust yourself enough to take the step.
Have a great day, see you on the radio.
