We had not one, but TWO long awaited releases within the last couple weeks and we're here to put our unique spin on their affect on the nerd universe. James Cameron announced his intention to create a live-action version of Alita: Battle Angel way back in 2003. It survived development hell and along with director Robert Rodriguez it burst onto the cinema scene sixteen years later. Similarly, the video game franchise Kingdom Hearts hasn't had a mainline game release since 2004 but that changed with the much anticipated release of it's third installment this year. Was it worth the wait for either of these titles?
