I received an emergency phone call bypassing my DND. A call notifying me that a wonderful former coworker of mine has passed away last year and the news was just reaching my circle of friends. Society has created a lane for people to quit their 9-5 and just start making content. That’s cool and all.. but what happens to society when everyone decides to do that? What happens to the services we need and the communities where we and our loved ones live? News broke over the Christmas weekend, that daycares in Minnesota owned by Somali immigrants were embezzling government funds. Acting as a cover up, the day care centers had no children enrolled but continuing to collect millions from the government.
