Matt Brown was a tough Ohio kid who left behind drugs and alcohol to build a long MMA career that included reaching the quarter finals of The Ultimate Fighter Season 7 and over 10 years and counting in the UFC. As of this recording, he was recovering from injury but still training, working on multiple business projects and preparing for a lecture. One of his priceless quotes from this talk with The Spaniard: "I made the decision a long time ago that I'm going to control my own mind. I think we see a lot of miraculous things from people who just make decisions and stick to them."
