Lv: Tirgus laukumā Rīgas centrā skanēja mūzika un smaržoja cepti āboli.
En: In the market square in the center of Rīga, music played, and the smell of baked apples filled the air.

Lv: Rudens lauksaimnieku festivāls bija pilnā plaukumā.
En: The autumn farmers' festival was in full swing.

Lv: Vilnim, jaunam tirgotājam, bija šī tirgus diena īpaši svarīga.
En: For Vilnis, a young vendor, this market day was particularly important.
