What happens when God brings you into a new season, but you don't really know how to operate there?

In this week's episode of The Spark, Sandra makes a confession: I don't really know how to be in this space of my life.

After God told her it was time to go, so much of what was familiar began to change. The position changed. The environment changed. The responsibilities changed. And when the constant doing became quiet, God began revealing something deeper—somewhere along the way, it became easy to recognize His presence through working, serving, being needed, and being productive.

But what happens when God isn't asking you to do more? What happens when He's asking you to simply be with Him?

While studying Deuteronomy 4 and God's warning to Israel about creating carved images, Sandra was confronted with a personal question: Have I created an image of what God's presence is supposed to look like based on how He moved in my previous season?

In this deeply personal episode, we'll talk about the idols that don't always look like idols—productivity, position, people's approval, being needed, and even the familiar ways we've experienced God before. We'll also talk about the distractions we sometimes reach for when life gets too quiet and God begins asking us to sit with the things busyness helped us avoid.

And through it all, we're discovering something beautiful: love for free.

The kind of love you don't have to perform for.
The kind of love you don't have to earn.
The kind of love that reminds you that before you accomplish another thing, you are already His.

I do not have to perform to be loved. I do not have to be needed to be valuable. I release the image of who I thought I had to be, and I receive who God says I am. I am His, and I can rest in that truth.

In this deeply personal episode of The Spark Podcast, I share what God taught me while walking through one of the hardest seasons of my life: His peace is not limited by our circumstances.

At my cousin Sean’s bedside, I prayed for healing, restoration, strength, and a different report. And even while everything around me felt painful and uncertain, God reminded me of something I will never forget:

“I am here.”

In this week's episode of The Spark, we're slowing down to discover something many of us overlook in the middle of disappointment: God's presence.

Sometimes we spend so much energy asking God to remove the valley that we miss the fact that He has already stepped into it with us.

In this deeply personal episode, Sandra shares how, in the middle of carrying heartbreaking news about a loved one, the Holy Spirit gently whispered, "I'm here." Those two words became an anchor, reminding her that peace isn't found in having all the answers. Peace is found in knowing that God is present, even when life feels uncertain.

We'll talk about why peace isn't the absence of bad news, but the evidence of God's presence in the middle of it. We'll be reminded that we don't have to carry tomorrow because God gives us grace for today. Forgiveness Series | Part 3

Sometimes the hardest person to forgive is ourselves.

We can extend grace to others while secretly replaying our own mistakes, carrying shame, and punishing ourselves for seasons God has already forgiven.

In Part 3 of our Forgiveness Series, we're having an honest conversation about self-forgiveness. Together, we'll talk about regret, self-condemnation, feeling disqualified, and the burden of believing, "I should've known better."

Looking at the lives of David and Peter, we discover something beautiful: they both failed greatly, but they also surrendered greatly. Their mistakes didn't disqualify them, and yours don't either.
