Mid summer bring the I-don’t-want-to’s down on us hard. Learning to purposely see the good in the chaos is a lesson I’m not sure I’ll ever fully Ace.

As parents it’s easiest to place blame or have a ”give up” attitude instead of realizing we can help our children deal with natural wiggles and impatience. We can set them up for success!

We see what we look for and sometimes our vision is our worst enemy.

How can we fight our “flight” defense mechanism?

How many things to we plan and prepare for while neglecting to do that very thing for the truly important parts of life?

In our desire to avoid one ditch we have driven across the road into another.

In a take-yourself-too-serious world we have a gift we can give our children!

Is it possible to accidentally fall into an attitude of service to others?

Can we accept the best our children give in this season while also believing forward for them in the next?
