The Spike Feed

Big news dropped this week when Wizards announced that they are cancelling rotation and allowing for the current set of cards to remain for another year. We ask if this addresses the issues plaguing competitive play and Standard. We also talk video games and movies. Thank you for your honor.

It was a light week in terms of news, but we’ve been hitting draft hard for March of the Machines. We take a look at how the new set is impacting Standard, and we wonder what deck will win the upcoming Pro Tour. Thank you for you honor.

The Explorer metagame is looking healthy-ish, and with the next wave of cards being released, it’s getting closer and closer to getting us a real non-rotating format in Arena. Hey look, it’s Snapcaster Mage in Arena! Cool…but we still can’t figure out why resources are being put into Alchemy products. We also talk video games. Thank you for your honor.
