You know that voice in your head that tells you’re not good enough or that you’ll never be able to change? That same voice that tells you that it would be easier to just relapse or that you should act against your values. And for some reason we listen to this voice. It puts us down and makes us feel terrible about ourselves, and Yet… We listen. This voice is called Spike. And it’s not just for people with an addiction. Everybody deals with issues of self-confidence at some point in their lives. Everybody puts themselves down, or compares themselves to others while feelings of Im not good enough creep in and deteriorate our perceived self worth.
