The Spilled Milk Podcast

This is the first episode in the series of solo episodes and I'm still getting used to this format but today I will be discussing my perspective on failure how to deal with it and accepting our feelings of jealousy in the 'announcement culture' on the internet 

Short segment that reflects on the conception of the Spilled Milk podcast in January 2020 and how the pandemic and shifts in mentality have changed how podcast will look in the future. 

Today we are joined by my friend Maleka a recent KCL graduate and current UCL PGCE student in who has done a lot of work and research into getting students from underrepresented backgrounds into higher education. We discuss our experiences as first gens in Russel Group universities in particular as young Muslim women as well discussing her journey through education and graduating in a pandemic. 

This episode we are joined by Alena a student mental health nurse, she shares her experiences and advice surrounding mental health and the work she does. 

Tonight's episode is super casual where AnonBabes and I catch up with each other and talk about going back to uni and our social life.
