Once you see it, you cannot unsee it.

I love my brethren in Christianity. Dearly. And think they do massive amounts of good (even when the institutions seem to be destroying entities led by wolves).

But there is an aspect to Christianity that continues to astound me:

Christianity teaches that Yeshua got rid of Himself at the cross.

It teaches that David, Solomon, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Daniel, they all lied to you about God’s laws.

Instead of teaching that Yeshua freed us from the penalty of the Law it teaches that He freed us from the Law itself, picking and choosing which laws are still appropriate to follow (tithing always seems to come up here).

This unfruitful and unBiblical view can be easily defeated through many lenses of Scriptural study.

Today’s lense? How does the Bible describe light, fire and bread? How are those things equated with the Savior and with teaching and instruction?

Christianity has obliterated the understanding the Bible gives of the story of Jews and Israel and our identity as Believers.

And yes, this affects questions about the land, about the purpose of the land, the constant fighting over the land.

There is the land of Israel, the physical lineage of Israel, and the family of God that is Israel. No wonder there is confusion.

And yes, the land of Israel physically matters. Yeshua will reign from that location when He returns. The physical reflects the spiritual. It MATTERS.

Christians have been told a host of lies:

* Christians replace Israel

* Christians replace Jews

* The land should be split up

* God only returns to punish the Jews

These and many other lies are floating around the internet as we watch the war against Iran expand.

Let’s hammer this out together. Let’s see what God says about the identity of Israel.

With prophetic messes discouraging Believers and political entanglements distracting them, it’s time we hammer out our identity and history to buffer against the winds of news and social media.

This one understanding will change you forever… it will also change your understanding of Scripture and prophecy.

Christians seem to think the term, “Christian” is enough to establish identity. They think the phrase “In Christ” simply means, being a Christian!

But this oversimplification glosses over many major themes throughout Scripture and impedes our understanding of Covenant, obedience, and family to our own detriment.

I have a handful of folks around who are questioning the status of Jesus as God and as one with God.

While I can see that The Father has roles that make Yeshua subservient, I don’t have an issue with that. My role as mother is preceded by my role as human and woman. I serve these roles in the many other roles I take on. Cook, maid, jokester, friend…

The roles described in the triune nature of G-d do not take away from the status of each entity. There are different activities, but one G-d.

We need to get this right. The question of the status of Yeshua is the ultimate question for all people who know that G-d is real.

I’ll take you through Scripture to show you that Jesus claims to be God, the Bible claims Jesus is equal to the Father and that our Messiah shows up as the God of the OT.

Towards the end of the podcast I rush a bit through some thoughts from Dr. Douglas Hamp on what many older Jewish writers and documents have to say about the triune nature of G-d. I’d recommend you go grab some of your own research on those writings as well. Good stuff.

The idea of the triune nature of G-d is far older than Catholicism and is not pagan. Lots to discover.

We are to be helpers. And it may help to be armed with that belt of truth first. But the truth may take some digging. That’s why I’m here.

What can we do to receive the fullness of the power of the Holy Spirit in our walk right now?

I’m offering here what I’ve discovered so far as it pertains to the prophetic or at least, alarming, news of the day.

I find most Believers have no idea what the Jews are doing with the red heifers, they don’t understand the relationship between Judah and Israel and the Church. And all of this to our detriment. We have need of understanding but Pastors and teachers seem to have gone missing or are chasing bunny trails and not sharing the truth as Scripture describes.

This is my understanding of things at the moment. Do your own research but make sure you are careful to test what you think you know against what the Bible says. We must be Berean-like in such treacherous times of propaganda.
