On today's episode, Rebecca talks more about working through religious trauma, and learning how to embrace the trueness of yourself despite the past and it's narratives.

Specifically speaking with those whom have been hurt or affected by religion, Rebecca expands on her journey and how she navigated programming that she was instilled with at birth, releasing the need for hypervigilance, "good girl" conditioning, and  the need to disown her own humanness.  In this episode Rebecca dives into topics of forgiveness, people pleasing, conflict avoidance, guilt, and rejection of the imperfect self, and potentially harmful conditioning that can still affect us despite change - Leaving us with the main message that despite where you are on your journey of spirituality and faith - you always are loved, accepted, and enough.

She has a private practice in Calgary, Canada where she sees clients in person and online. Vicky is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is a Certified Hakomi Therapist, a mindfulness-based somatic therapy. She is a Certified Embodied Awareness Facilitator, offering spiritually-directed therapy. She is a ThetaHealing™ practitioner. Vicky is a Peruvian Shaman Practitioner and Reiki Master.
