Growing up in the early 2000's, it was hard not to be a fan of SpongeBob. Nickelodeon's longest running  - currently in its 12th season - and most successful show all started back in 1999 staring a strange yellow sponge and his equally strange world.  Does the humor and writing of that first season hold up 20 years later?
