After a few months off to recharge. the Fantasy Premier League podcast is back for the The Sporting One (Rowey) and The Fantasy Oracle (Haydos) for season 2019/20.

The Sporting One and The Fantasy Oracle do a quick run through the basic elements of Fantasy Premier League. We discuss the premium sides which often means paying for the premium players. The teams that are fixture proof who you can rely on to score points no matter who they play. The teams that start off with good fixtures and the players to target from those sides. We run through the newly promoted sides and the options from them. We explore three different strategies, first one a heavy hitting defence, midfield or attack? The second going with Bargain goalkeepers or Premium goalkeepers? The third strategy being the money game vs the keeping it tight game, the money game being maximising a player's upward swing in price essentially buying low, selling high but that comes at the cost of transfers vs making only the free transfers allotted or rolling them over every two game weeks and minimising point loss. Money vs Points.  Lastly we look at our sides going into the week and our captains for the first game week and for the second year running Mohamed Salah was the highest scoring FPL player and he is our captain for the first week.
