Before there was Michael Jordan, two mega stars led the way in the NBA, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. From their college days, these rivals had epic battles that culminated in multiple championships for each of them, as well as the Hall of Fame. But with all of the popular recent basketball card sets and players, these two seem to have been largely forgotten.  In this video, we analyze recent Ebay sold listings and PSA population reports for various 80's cards for each player.

Michael Jordan and Lebron James cards have been on a meteoric rise over the last few months, but especially over the last few weeks. A quick poison ivy update. Plus of course the various reasons why I believe now is the best time ever to invest in sports cards. Last night was an exciting night for football fans and sports fans alike. With no sports being played right now, we're all looking forward to the seasons getting back to normal and for events like the NFL Draft. The website 130point.com offers free data on card sets and players from all the major sports. Additionally, they have compiled Ebay Sold listings from the last 90 days that include the Best Offer price that was accepted. This is invaluable when making comparisons.   Also, to save us all time, they have a tool that graphs up all the sales from the last 90 days and shows an average price. Luka Doncic's meteoric rise this season has made his basketball card prices shoot to the stars, and for good reason. He looks to be a bonafide superstar in the league, and possibly that next generational talent similar to Lebron James and Michael Jordan.  Loads of sports card collectors and investors have been flocking to obtain his rookie cards over the last 12 months, with the coveted Prizm Silver, as a top target. Prizm Silvers are currently tops in popularity, but with scarcity always an issue when investing, we are looking at alternative Luka Doncic rookie cards to consider to the Silver Prizm that are more rare.
