It's playoff time for high school football. Jamie Council goes over the top teams in each classification as well as matchups of local teams. Plus, hear from Royal football QB/LB Lance Allred, RB/DB Santana Luna, and head coach Wiley Allred as the Knights look for their 13th state title as a program.

Chiawana slow-pitch softball secured their fourth-straight state title. Jamie Council catches up with head coach and MCC Coach of the Year Brian Thomas and seniors Chase Wirt, 1st Team MCC Outfielder and Player of the Year, and Gabby Garza, 1st Team MCC 1st Baseman.

Chiawana and Richland are the MCC girls soccer champions -- Both programs finished league play with a 7-1 record. The Bombers are a perennial powerhouse. However, the Riverhawks are looking to make a statement on a statewide level, currently ranked top 10 in the state. The program hasn't made it to state since 2017 and has never made it past the first round of playoffs. Over the past decade, Kamiakin Boys Cross Country has been one of the most dominant teams in the MCC as well as the state. The Braves are current;y ranked second in the state of Washington in 4A, chasing their fifth state title. Jamie Council catches up with long-time head coach Matt Rexus and three senior runners: Ezra Teeples, Noah Thomas, and Chase Kennard.

Central Washington football is coming off a banner year and looking to build on that success as they enter a new season in the Lonestar Conference. Heading into the Wildcats home opener, Jamie Council catches up with Head Coach Chris Fisk.
