In one of Friday’s highlighted games for the weekend, a lot of eyes were on the San Francisco 49ers vs Denver Broncos. It wasn’t pretty for Denver once again, and the national media was chomping at the bit. In another key matchup, the Kansas City Chiefs looked like a well-oiled machine no matter what unit was out there, causing Calvin to give Andy Reid more credit in the recent run of success. In Indianapolis, the Colts named Anthony Richardson QB1 last week, and gave him a taste of the high life by sitting him in the team’s second preseason game.

There was a lot of NFL action this weekend, but in between it all was UFC 292. In the main event, Sean O’Malley TKO’d Aljamain Sterling to win the Bantamweight Championship. In the immediate aftermath, however, the “Suga Show” stated his intentions to chase a real payday with a boxing match against Gervonta “Tank” Davis. From there, it is time to get into the NFL and recap preseason Week 2.

The WNBA had a premium matchup on Thursday night between the Las Vegas Aces and the New York Liberty.
