The biggest problem for the Philadelphia 76ers is that this edition of the team was built on a foundation of losing during the “Trust the Process” era. While they have largely come from that space, they haven’t been able to escape it, and Doc Rivers hasn’t helped solve the problem, something that could cost him his job. Among the coaches that have already been fired this postseason, Monty Williams joined the ranks after Phoenix fired him over the weekend.

Calvin thinks The Rock is really playing the long game, and that’s what makes this league different. The title chase in the NBA is still ongoing, but the league is one step closer to having a champion of their own with the conclusion of the conference semi-finals over the weekend. On the two series on everyone’s mind, the Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors, pushing the reigning champs into an offseason of questions. Meanwhile, Doc Rivers’ squad comes up short yet again, falling to the Boston Celtics in Game 7.

Closing out the week on the NFL, Calvin looks at the Dallas Cowboys’ official schedule and makes his projections on which matchups the team will win and which they’ll lose.
