The guys have their weekly chat with the play by play voice of ECU Baseball Corey Gloor. They take a look back at the Pirates' 4-0 week that started with a win at Elon and was capped with a sweep of No. 18 UCONN (5-1, 5-2, 9-7) at Clark-LeClair Stadium on Thursday and Saturday.

Then, they take a look ahead to a 5-game week that will see ECU play four home games beginning with Tuesday's 6:30pm PAINT IT BLACK game against UNCW. The Pirates will then travel to ODU on Wednesday before second place Tulane comes to town on Friday!

After going 4-4 on its eight-game road trip, the 12th-ranked Pirates return home for a crucial AAC series with #18 UCONN!

Dom Amore, UCONN Baseball Beat Writer for the Hartford Courant, gives us the scoop on the Huskies.

After losing three competitive games at consensus #1 UCLA, the Pirates will seek to return to their winning ways at Elon on Tuesday. 

We discussed the series with the Bruins plus take a look ahead to Elon and UCONN. We also take a quick glance around The American and see which teams are pushing Cliff Cliff Godwin's club.

It's a new era in ECU Pirate Football.  ECU Head Coach Mike Houston took over the program on December 3, 2018.  Over the last few months, he and his staff have been working hard.  it started with recruting.  They worked many hours before National Signing Day in February.  Since then, they have been working on putting the system in.  Over the last month, there have been fifteen practices including the Spring Game on April 13th.  The Spring Game is April 13th at 1:30 pm.  After the Spring Game, stop by Professor O'Cools in Greenville in the Big Lots Shopping Center.  You can enjoy great burgers and wings.  They have a great menu with various items, including salads for the health conscious.  

The Purple Gold Spring Game After Party is live Saturday April 13th from 5 pm- 7 pm.  You can come by and meet former players and coaches.  We will get their takes and insights on the Spring Game.  In addition, we will find out more about them and their ties to ECU.  What was their Spring Game like?  How was Spring Practice in their era?
