The NFL draft season is in high gear and we’re continuing our prospect coverage preview with the Interior Defensive Lineman the Defensive Tackles!  This is a solid position in the draft this year with several high-ranking prospects!  We’ll discuss our favorites and whether this group will impact what the Lions do on day 1.

The NFL draft season is upon us and we’re kicking off our prospect coverage preview with the Edge Rusher the Defensive Ends!  This is one of the deepest positions in the draft this year and we have a lot to talk about especially regarding what the Detroit Lions might do at #2 overall!  

The Detroit Red Wings are just over halfway through their campaign and we’ll assess where they are currently in standings.  We’ll also look at the “Yzerplan” and see where the club stands going into the playoff stretch drive.  Is it realistic to expect a playoff run this season?  We give our take and look at the off-season free agents too!

Our Round Table discusses how Lions fans are reacting to Matt Stafford leading the Los Angeles Rams to the Super Bowl.  We discuss the Super Bowl and talk about the Lions’ priorities come draft weekend on the offensive side of the football. 

The Detroit Lions ended the season in style beating the Green Bay Packers at Ford Field by a score of 37-30.  The Lions finish this season at 3-13-1 and will pick 2nd in the NFL draft this April.  The Packers rested most of their starters after half time, but the Lions weren’t exactly 100% healthy so it’s a victory well earned.  We’ll talk about the game and the upcoming off-season next.  

The Lions went down early and never recovered as the Seattle Seahawks dominated our Gridiron Heroes by a score of 51-29.  The Lions fought hard in the 2nd half and made a game of it, but the defense could not stop the run as Rashaad Penny totaled 170 yards on the ground as Seattle rushed for 265 yards for the game!  There is one more game left in the “D” against the Packers and we preview that match up too!  

Coming up, the Lions had the ball in the last minute in the Red Zone but could not secure a win and fell to the Atlanta Falcons 20-16 last Sunday.  Tim Boyle started for Jared Goff who missed the game along with several others due to COVID and played well up until the end.  We’ll discuss it all next.  

Coming up, the Detroit Lions played a complete game at Ford Field last Sunday in defeating the Arizona Cardinals 30-12.  We’ll look at everything that contributed to this huge win against the now 10-4 Cardinals and we’ll preview the upcoming contest against the Atlanta Falcons next Sunday!
