Cup finals, semi-finals, inter-insular clashes and the cricket season beginning to properly heat up, Jersey sport is not slowing down anytime soon.
This week on The Warm Up, we preview another massive weekend across the Island as Jersey football looks to build on a historic week that saw Jersey Wanderers lift the Upton Park Trophy for the first time in 37 years, alongside St Paul’s Under-16s bringing home Upton silverware.
Now, attention turns to the next set of big occasions. Jersey Wanderers face St Clement in the JFA Cup semi-final, St Paul’s chase another Upton success at Under-18 level against Vale Rec, and there’s plenty more local football drama with cup clashes and women’s finals taking place across the weekend.
The pair also discuss the provisional Muratti squads ahead of next weekend's clash against Guernsey at Springfield.
We also head across the water for hockey as RWB Nomads take on Guernsey Cubs at Footes Lane, with several Jersey stars involved in another big Upton battle.
Cricket continues to gather pace with another packed programme across the Premier League, Division One and Division Two, while Liberation Weekend racing returns to Les Landes for the second horse racing meet of the season.
Add in one of the Island’s biggest racketball festivals and the long-awaited return of Fixture Forecast, now officially switched over to cricket season, and there is plenty to get stuck into.
