The Sports Rabbi welcomed two brand new players from Hapoel Eilat, Milton Doyle & Jordan Caroline as they both talk about signing with the Red Sea squad. The pair also discussed their careers to date, playing in college, the G-League, dreams and goals.

Nes Ziona's new star guard Lindell Wigginton comes on board with The Sports Rabbi to discuss his young career to date, growing up in Nova Scotia, playing at Iowa State and then for the G-League Wolves, what it means to represent his province and country of Canada. Cor-J Cox joins The Sports Rabbi to talk about not being able to play professional basketball in Israel due to his citizenship situation. Cox is married to his Israeli wife Meital and the couple have a child but the interior ministry won't grant the North Carolina native citizenship in order to work and support his family in the Holy Land.

We also talk about his time playing in Austria, Finland and of course in college.

Ben Carter who just signed with Hapoel Eilat joined The Sports Rabbi as we look at his career to date. Growing up in Las Vegas with his parents which included Israeli league great Mike Carter and after attending a trio of universities with the last being the Michigan State Spartans, Carter signed with Hapoel Jerusalem. Following the 2017/18 season, Carter spent two seasons in the Leumit League, Israel's second division with Hapoel Afula and has now made the leap back to the Winner League as he inked a deal with the Red Sea City squad. Hapoel Beer Sheva captain Spencer Weisz joins The Sports Rabbi to discuss the resumption of the 2019/20 Israel Basketball Season just days after returning from the United States. The Princeton product left the Holy Land back in March at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic not knowing what the future would be, but now Weisz is back and ready to go as the league ramps up to restart in June.

Trent Tucker, the legendary New York Knicks sharpshooter joined The Sports Rabbi to talk hoops and more! We spoke about the emergence of the 3-pointer over the past decade, the rivalry with the Chicago Bulls and then joining Michael Jordan and earning the team's trust during the 1993 season which ended with a World Championship.

Gene Banks is part of a very select group of players who both featured in Israel and played with Michael Jordan on the Chicago Bulls. The Sports Rabbi had the privilege to speak with Banks who looked back at his career from growing up in Philadelphia, rejuvenating Duke University, his time with the Spurs and what its as like to practice and play with MJ between 1985-1987.

One of Israel's greatest foreign players, Banks also delves into his wonderful time at Maccabi Rishon Le'Zion in the early 1900's as well as Herzliya while sharing his love of the Holy Land while starring across the country.
