Luke gets the opportunity to sit down with Drag Champ creator Gary Don Free. Hear about Gary’s history in racing, and how “Drag Champ” came to be.  

This week the guys, pay their respects to Kyle Ellis, after losing him tragically in an accident en route to the Huntsville. Onto brighter topics, they cover a ton of results from one side of the country to the other. Finally they preview the Jegs All Star race and make some pics.

Luke and Jed recap the Spring Fling Galot, highlighting some stand out performances there. They also discuss some NHRA LODRS results from around the country over the past two weeks. They discuss an interesting Super Street performance from California as well.

Luke and Jed get the opportunity to pick the brain of Peeps Pennington, after his win at the Spring Fling Million, with its historical $375,000 payout! Peeps shares how the day went, his emotions, and of course the after celebration!

Luke and Jed re-cap the Spring Fling Million, and Luke discusses his take on splits or lack thereof. From there the guys cover results from the ATI Bigfoot $40k Footbrake race, as well as the Texas Triple 10’s.

Luke sits down with one of the greatest racers in the sportsman/bracket ranks. Edmond Richardson has been winning races for 30 years, and has the drive to continue. An incredible in-depth interview with “The King”, with a lot of insight on racing and winning over his extremely fruitful career.  

The guys cover racing from the past two weeks, almost exclusively NHRA heavy while most all of the significant bracket racing was cancelled/postponed due to weather, they preview some of the upcoming events and finish off the NCAA Final four bracket and we have a “whip us” winner.

Rather than discuss the imminent success of what has become arguably the most prestigious event in Sportsman Drag Racing, Kyle agreed to let listeners in. Within this highly personal episode, he details what the last 8 months have been like, clinically and emotionally, in his battle with cancer.
