This week's show is a little different from the usual. Mr Tucker kicks off the show thanking parents and carers for their amazing home learning efforts and offers words of support. He then shares a couple of tips he's picked up from books and podcasts he's listened to during this time about motivation. In lockdown, it is especially difficult to maintain motivation and routine so hopefully, listeners will find some of the information in this podcast useful.

Due to a few (many) technical issues last week I was finding it difficult to upload the audio from my call with Mr Nicholson. However, upon one last attempt to convert the audio it has worked! Here is our latest episode of the Spring Life Podcast. Including an interview with Mr Todd who has been working in Team 1 of our school lockdown skeleton staff.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all of those parents who have embraced home learning and used the resources set by the staff. We, as a community, will get through this stronger than ever!

This week it is just Mr Tucker who expresses his feelings on the situation we face. 

We face a tough period of uncertainty and this podcast highlights his gratitude towards the community who have positively contributed to the school's maintenance during this time. 

Mr Tucker also delivers the usual segments of recommended read, work of the week and quote of the week, as well as a quick message to Year 6.

This week we are joined by Faith, Lily and Molly who are members of Global Club. Global Club was set up to find ways that the school can improve sustainability in the environment. A huge thank you to Mrs Guthrie, who set up Global club, for giving up her time to be interviewed on this podcast.

In today's bonus episode, Sophie, Leo, Zuzia and Kayla have created this entire podcast independently. They planned, recorded and produced the whole project on their own and without hardly any experience prior to the project on using the studio equipment.

Their podcast was recorded as part of their ICT lesson during e-safety week.
