Summer is here! Let's make a seashell display! Your can get super detailed with this one or keep it simple and refreshing- either way a seashell is a great start to a summer mini garden.

A Fairy garden can mean the world to you! A small world, yes. But a very special one!

When you imagine all that you are able to create, what is it that you see? A special rose garden? A park? Maybe a cave? Whatever you see in your mind is possible!

But when it comes to the actual creation, there may be some differences between what you first saw in your mind and what is in front of you.

That's ok.

Are you ready for Summer??

Get your notebook and plan for a heatwave of growth in your gardens! The first, and most important, step in creating the Fairy garden of your dreams is to decide what you want.

Do you want to have a party? A special color? A trip to someplace tropical?

Whatever you can think of you can make it in miniature!

Get some good bugs INTO the garden and get the bad ones OUT!

Plants that deter ants: Rosemary, Lavender, Catnip, Peppermint, Mint, Thyme, and Tansy. Soap can be used to spray on the ant lines too. Use dish soap or laundry soap mixed with water in a spray bottle.

Live Ladybugs can be purchased at the Home Depot, Amazon, or Ace Hardware- plus many small garden shops near you or online

If you'd like to start beekeeping, I strongly suggest getting friendly with a nearby Apiarist to help you get started. Also be sure to look online for bee colonies you can purchase nearby. It's best they don't have to be shipped long distances if possible
