Sometimes, being a Tottenham fan feels like comfortably winning a couple of Premier League games in a row - almost enough to forget about a terrible night in Slovenia. And then sometimes, you record a Tottenham Hotspur podcast just hours before reports come out that a COVID outbreak has taken over the team and staff! Hopefully everyone at the club is okay. This week we look back on the wins over Norwich and Leeds in the Premier League, and try to forget Spurs' struggles in the Europa Conference League. We also touch on the excellent recent performances of Oliver Skipp (one of our own!), who is well outside our Room for Improvement.
The Premier League is back, and we saw Antonio Conte's first league home game in charge of the Tottenham Hotspur dugout, as Spurs came from behind to win against Leeds. We'll cover our feelings on the match, as well as some team news and injuries. We take a step into the Room for Improvement and a look ahead as well.
The Spurs Brothers took 2 weeks off, which included moving into a new home and visiting a close friend, and so naturally it's been a season-defining 2 weeks at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. A new coach, new formation, transfer rumors, and 6 massively important games for the men's team as well as 3 big matches for the Spurs Women! We try to catch up on all that we've missed, including the massively disappointing results that led to Nuno Espirito Santo losing his position as head coach, as well as our feelings about the appointment of Antonio Conte and the general (but mostly good?) chaos at the club.
It's the return of Premier League football after the October international break, and we cover Tottenham's match against Newcastle United, as well as the recent, controversial takeover of our opponents from Tyneside. We discuss the Room for Improvement and look ahead to a tough series of upcoming fixtures.
A win for Tottenham Hotspur sure is a good way to begin the month of October! We cover the Europa Conference League match against Mura, as well as the Premier League matchup against Aston Villa. There were 2 matches for the Women's team as well, and a lot of team news to cover. As always, we take a step into the Room for Improvement and take a look ahead towards Tottenham's fixtures after the international break.
This week we cover the dark times for Tottenham Hotspur - despite a positive win (albeit in penalties) against Wolverhampton midweek in the League Cup, Spurs lost their 3rd straight Premier League match in a row to our most detested rivals, Arsenal. Their is some hope for Spurs fans with the Women's team flying high, and we try to take to find silver linings in the men's disgraceful recent performances.
This week saw the passing of Tottenham legend and icon Jimmy Greaves. We look back on the career of the Tottenham record-holding goalscorer, who may have been the best English striker to ever play the game. It was a tough week for the current Spurs team, who faced tough competition away in France against Stade Rennais and at home to bitter rivals Chelsea.
There's a lot to discuss this week as we come back from the international break which saw several Tottenham players injured and others stuck in quarantine after traveling. In the meantime, the Spurs Women's team has returned to action in the Women's Super League, and we focus on the men's weekend Premier League fiasco against Crystal Palace.
Tottenham are top of the table, and Arsenal are in dead last! This week there's a lot to cover, and we discuss Spurs' dealings at the end of the transfer window, as well as some deals that didn't happen. There were two games this week as well, and we recall Tottenham's wins against Paços de Ferreira and Watford.
This week we cover Tottenham's trip to Portugal to play Paços de Ferreira in the Europa Conference League Qualifier, as well as the weekend Premier League trip to the Molineux Stadium to play Wolverhampton Wanderers. We also take a look at the ever-changing stories surrounding Tottenham before the close of the transfer window.
