The Spy-Fi Guys

We begin our Swingin' '60s Summer Series with, of course, a James Bond film. Except this is not your average 007 film. This early James Bond parody actually uses the title and story material from the very first 007 novel by Ian Fleming, and then turns it on its head. Starring Peter Sellers, Ursula Andress, David Niven, Woody Allen, and Orson Welles, this film asks the question, can you have too many James Bonds?

Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson star in the story of an ordinary amnesiac who is actually a CIA assassin! Sounds like a Shane Black movie? That's because it is, with all the clever dialogue to match. It's also one of Samuel L. Jackson's favorites to rewatch.
