Sk: V teplej jarnej sobote sa šíri vôňa grilovania malebným rezidenčným susedstvom.
En: On a warm spring Saturday, the aroma of grilling wafts through the picturesque residential neighborhood.

Sk: Kvety v predzáhradkách domov kvitnú a zelené trávniky sa blýskajú v slnku.
En: Flowers in the front yards of homes are blooming, and the green lawns glisten in the sun.

Sk: Boris, Katarína a Marek sa stretli v Borisovej záhrade s plánom užiť si dokonalé grilovanie.
En: Boris, Katarína, and Marek have gathered in Boris's garden with plans to enjoy a perfect barbecue.

Sk: Boris, s úsmevom na perách a klobúkom na hlave, zápasí s rozložením grilu.
En: Boris, smiling and wearing a hat, struggles with setting up the grill.

Sk: „Urobíme najlepší barbecue,“ hovorí s nadšením.
En: “We’re going to make the best barbecue,” he says enthusiastically.

Sk: Katarína, jeho praktická kamarátka, pripravuje misky na šalát a zemiaky.

Sk: „Pozri, tam je veverička,“ šepká Katarína a ukazuje na malú, hravú veveričku, ktorá sa objavuje medzi stromami.
En: “Look, there's a squirrel,” Katarína whispers, pointing to a small, playful squirrel that appears among the trees.

Sk: Veverička si obzerá ich jedlo s jasným zámerom.
En: The squirrel eyes their food with clear intent.

Sk: „To nič nie je,“ mávne rukou Boris. „Nebude nám kradnúť jedlo.“
En: “It's nothing,” Boris waves his hand. “It’s not going to steal our food.”

Sk: Ale veverička mala iné plány.
En: But the squirrel had other plans.

Sk: V okamihu, keď sa všetci traja otočili, veverička ukradla klobásku priamo z grilu a rýchlo sa stratila medzi stromami.
En: In the moment all three turned their backs, the squirrel stole a sausage right from the grill and quickly vanished among the trees.

Sk: Boris ju stihol všimnúť len mrknutím oka.
En: Boris only noticed it with a blink of an eye.

Sk: „Taký malý zlodej!“ zvolal Boris, trochu zasmial sa z vlastnej nepozornosti.
En: “Such a little thief!” exclaimed Boris, chuckling at his own lack of attention.

Sk: Katarína pridáva: „Musíme s tým niečo urobiť, inak nebudeme mať čo jesť!“
En: Katarína adds, “We have to do something about this, or we won’t have anything to eat!”

Sk: Borisovi sa v hlave zrodí plán.
En: A plan forms in Boris's mind.

Sk: Rozhodne sa postaviť pascu.
En: He decides to set a trap.

Sk: S pomocou Kataríny a Mareka vytvorí zložité zariadenie, ktoré by malo veveričku zadržať.
En: With the help of Katarína and Marek, he creates a complex device that should catch the squirrel.

Sk: Natočia misku arašidového masla ako nástrahu a čakajú s napätím.
En: They bait it with a bowl of peanut butter and wait with tension.

Sk: Keď všetko vyzerá, že pasca úspešne funguje, Marek sa uškrnie a šepká: „Uvidíme, kto koho prekabáti.“
En: When it seems that the trap is working successfully, Marek grins and whispers, “Let’s see who outsmarts whom.”

Sk: A vtedy sa stane niečo neočakávané.
En: And then something unexpected happens.

Sk: Veverička, očividne múdrejšia, než predpokladali, presne vyhmáta mechanismus a namiesto toho, aby bola chytená, ukradne celú misku.
En: The squirrel, apparently wiser than they assumed, figures out the mechanism, and instead of being caught, it steals the entire bowl.

Sk: Smiech Borisa pretína záhradu.
En: Laughter from Boris cuts through the garden.

Sk: Po chvíli sa všetci traja rozhodnú.
En: After a while, all three make a decision.

Sk: „Dobre, necháme ju,“ hovorí Boris, ešte stále sa smejúci, „Nech sa pridá k nám.“
En: “Alright, let’s leave her be,” says Boris, still laughing, “Let her join us.”

Sk: S touto myšlienkou pripravujú malý piknik na trávniku, spokojní z momentu, ktorý sa stal.
En: With this thought, they prepare a small picnic on the lawn, content with the moment they’ve experienced.

Sk: Rozdelia si jedlo a po chvíli sa k nim pridá aj veverička, plná energie a zvedavosti.
En: They share their food, and after a moment, the squirrel, full of energy and curiosity, joins them.

Sk: Tam, v srdci zelenej záhrady, pod slnkom, zrazu pochopil Boris niečo dôležité.
En: There, in the heart of the green garden, under the sun, Boris suddenly understood something important.

Sk: Niekedy sú tie najlepšie chvíle tie, ktoré neplánujeme.
En: Sometimes the best moments are the ones we don’t plan.

Sk: S priateľmi po boku a smejúcou veveričkou, Boris pocítil, že chaos môže byť skutočne nádherný.
En: With friends by his side and a laughing squirrel, Boris felt that chaos can truly be beautiful.

Sk: A tak vesele skončil ich piknik, s veveričkou ako nezvyčajným hosťom a všetci si užívali jar, život a priatelia.
En: And so, happily, their picnic ended, with the squirrel as an unusual guest, and everyone enjoyed the spring, life, and friendships.
