This week Kevin guides you into the Christmas spirit with music from A Very Standard Christmas Vol 1 & 2. Low on content, but high on holiday glee and announcements.
This week we'll play a wintry music mix from friend of Standard, Cheryl from Cleveland. This mix came to us a few years back - entitled "Music for The Snow"... and each Winter, Kevin claims to listen to it twice a day. Mark will also tell us some interesting random facts relating to the Cold War and Christmas.
We'll update everyone on the Theme Song Contest and some upcoming events.
On this December 1st episode, Mark & Kevin will ring in the Holiday season by playing the majority of A Very Standard Christmas Volume 3 (a benefit Christmas album produced for the FACE Low-Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic of Indianapolis).

In this special Turkey Day episode, Mark & Kevin will walk you through the process of deep-frying a turkey. They visited the home of Richard & Kari McElroy last week and taped a very special Thanksgiving spot.
This week Kevin interviews accordion-toting troubadour - Jason Webley, and we'll hear from the Super Computer from the Future and preview a Thanksgiving Carol from her.
Music from Marla Hansen, Elvis Perkins, Jason Webley, and Songs: Ohia.
Mark returns from the future with a time-traveling stow-away that has fallen in love with Kevin. We'll play tunes from Vermillion Lies, Jason Webley, and the new 7" Split from Vollmar/Sleeping Bag now on Standard Recording Co.
Yet another music-heavy episode. Kevin hosts solo this week again as Mark is stuck in the future due to the Standard Time Machine breaking down. You'll here music from Standard's back catalog: Castle Oldchair, Miranda Sound, Everything Now!, Chad Serhal, Arrah and The Ferns, Big Big Car (now Jookabox), and This Story (now Bears of Blue River).
The SVH will take a break this week and play you a ton of songs from former Standard stalwart, Harley Poe. We'll also throw in some Screamin' Jay Hawkins and Sam The Sham & The Pharaohs!
This week we'll soothe you with tunes that will cure a rough weekend (due to a hectic schedule, busy work load, or copious amounts of adult beverages).
Tunes from Those Darlins, Killjoy Confetti, Freedy Johnston, and much more.
This week we'll listen to music from bands performing during the Broad Ripple Music Festival in Indianapolis on 10/16/2010. Music from Thunderhawk, The Kemps, America Owns The Moon, The Accordions and more... We'll speak with Jeff Calhoun again (magically), and Mark will amaze us with another Random Fact about Indiana's "Blue Laws".
