Many of God's children are unaware of the perilous times we are in and its saddening to see God's people succumb to systems of the world. It is therefore necessary that as a church and as children of God we need to be prepared and equipped that we might overcome the tides and storms that accompanies this end times.

It seems quite impossible to live as an overcomer when you really consider the times that we're in and it becomes even more difficult when we cannot identify the features of the times. But Paul in his epistle describes the features of the end-time because it is the first step in overcoming.

We are admonished to always be in perpetual readiness to pray and not just that but to actually engage in the act of prayer without which we cannot survive the difficulties of the end time. Sobriety and watchfulness is a key ingredient for prayer because without it we cannot accurately know what is the mind of God and therefore we cannot pray.
