Hi welcome to the introduction of “the Star Wars brain broken fan” podcast!
This is all my unfinished and finished books I’d been working on for a few years until I was in a serious car accident.
I’d always planned to revisit this work and perhaps get published but due to my severe injuries I’ve never been able to get to it, let alone function as a normal human being!
So I’m basically running these on my phone and letting the phone play them out and I pause it occasionally and chime in with some of the perspectives I have.
I’m sorry some of these will be a little rough
But I’ll try my best with what I’m capable to get them clean.
So let’s talk about the three books, the first one is a bit strange, it’s actually just a rewrite of the book Revan. I was a huge Kotor fan and I loved the games and most the novel but I just felt Meetra was a bit hard done by and it had a bit of a silly ending.
I do of course understand the was to setup and bridge the gap between Kotor and The old republic and I mean no disrespect to the Arthur in anyway!
This was just my fun idea of how I’d picture it going down.
The second book is my biggest and only fully original Star Wars project, I poured my heart and soul into this one.
So the setup is it’s set in the Sith empire during the old republic war. The planet is a unique place, with a dying dwarf star, the planet is very close to the Star and doesn’t spin, so one side is always covered in the white light and the other is always in darkness. The people have climatized to each side and their skins even resemble both sides. They also have trouble breathing if they’re to cross over.
Anyway these two civilizations are very old and have been in an age old war with each other. Once every year there is a great eclipse and the Dark ones use this opportunity to attack in great numbers.
Their technology isn’t that great, they are just barely past the steel age and this makes the Sith treated like Gods to these people.
So the main character of this story is a teenager named Philhaz, he is a talented young fighter being trained in war at the best battle school. Philhaz has a unique gift though, he has the “power” as they call it but it must be kept hidden or he will be turned over to the Sith Gods. His mother taught him young and trained him to hid it, even from his father but she passed away years ago.
So this is where that story takes off, it’s a Romeo and Juliet type hostile story and I love it.
Now the third book is called The Shadow of Darth Bane. This book takes a few characters from the famous Darth Bane trilogy books and brings an unexpected angle to light.
The main character is called Ogmar, he is the son of Hetton! To refresh your memory Hetton is from the second book, he’s a dark side user who has setup a powerful organization and he wishes to become Darth Zannah’s apprentice.
This doesn’t last very long but I thought he was an interesting!
So Ogmar is his son who saw the video footage of her wrecking his father’s followers, his friends and hates the Sith. He also hates the Jedi due to his best friend Kel, who nearly kills a Jedi knight but falls to his death.
Ogmar has been in hiding for a decade and has continued with his father’s teachings and worked on his fighting to become a powerful Dark side user.
Now there’s a lot I can say about this, I haven’t a whole group of younglings who are taken as slaves and slowly turned into something darker, I have the character Set and Darth Zannah who make appearances and this is a very dark and fun story.
I honestly went into this and played out myself being a Dark side human with a family that hated me and all my life falling apart and fully embracing the dark side.
My only complaint towards this is that I planned to change the start of the book but I
