Governor Newsom continues to appear around the state on a daily basis now, touting California’s improving COVID-19 numbers while using the events to fight back against the recall campaign.
He doesn’t mention the recall or address it directly, but he’s much more visible and accessible while painting an increasingly optimistic picture of the pandemic -- but the recall appears almost certain to qualify for the ballot now, with the election likely to happen this November.
