There’s been a lot of discussion about the apparent policy pivots leading up to and discussed in the State of the Union Address by Joe Biden. Some jokingly say, “It’s a miracle! It’s like COVID is gone but it’s still here.” People were surprised by the administrations shifts on Mask Mandates, “returning to normal,” opening schools, defunding/funding the police and even how states like California suddenly pivoted more closely resembling Florida and Texas.
