A little Lent check-in. Never to be discouraged, always to take heart in humility.

After another mass shooting by a trans-identified individual as well as the sexual assault of a young woman by a trans-identified young man, we must respond. We must be aware of the comorbidities. We must recognize these people as not so unlike us, before the devil whispers in their ear the same. As Catholics, as Christians, as people who care about the Truth, we must weep with those who weep. We must grieve. We must find Christ in the mess and reorient our hearts, and then we must reorient society so no one else is harmed by this, perpetrators included.
