Repentance has been viewed by many of us as a negative, punishing, and apologetic conversation with God, much like the ones we had when we were children with our furious parents. This could not be further from the truth! Join us as Amber and I discuss true repentance and the benefits that living a life of repentance will bring you.

In this episode we take a look at what it means to truly hear and trust God. We have had our share of terrible experiences by not understanding how to apply Hearing and Trusting in practical ways. We cannot have impact for the Kingdom without action, however, not all action is positive movement or God's will. Hopefully we can help shed some light on how proceed with hearing and moving with God.

There is a culture in the Body of Christ that is well intentioned, but misses the mark. We have heard the Expression "I'm just Real" or some variation of this, and there seems to be a common underlying problem with this.This is usually code for "I will serve God with any area of my life... except the parts that are hard to change or sin that I honestly enjoy". We have all been there!  However, saying I'm just Real, and not choosing to surrender every aspect of our lives to Jesus, is drastically different than being Authentic and admitting your struggles, but then striving to model Jesus and letting Him truly make you a new creation, which is what He promises for all of us! Be Authentic, not just Real. Enjoy!
