The Stellium Astrology Podcast

As eclipse season for the late part of 2022 approaches, I share my thoughts on the symbolism of both eclipses and how I think this will manifest on a human level.

It certainly seems as though we have to stand our ground on important matters, but will we alienate ourselves, or switch people on to our perspective?

Is the eclipse hitting your chart? Tell me how in the comments!

I've had an interesting time during Mercury retrograde.

It would seem I posted last week's episode up without even uploading the recording!!

Anyway, whatever! I have Covid this week and feel very tired. I've had a lot of time to think about my own transits and what they mean for me.

But I thought I'd make sure you had something to listen to/watch this week even if my voice sounds like one belonging to a heavy smoker!

Recording and putting this out really tested my stamina! I think I'll go back to bed now...

This week's episode was recorded a week ago but I wasn't able to edit and publish it in time because I got ill and so did everyone in my house! Plus I had my presentation for the AA conference so I was really under pressure.

I decided in the end to publish this episode for the following week and allow myself some time off to deal with all the pressure I've been having at home.

So apologies that the update I gave you guys in this video is out of date as the conference has been and gone, but I am actually producing the work I did for my talk "Archetypes Reimagined" as a course for you guys to check out at some point in the future!

➡️ What did you think of Queen Elizabeth and are you pro the monarchy? Are you excited about Charles being the new King?

I had such a great time talking to Anne Whitaker – we haven't met before but you'd never guess – our synastry is tangible!

Anne has written for Dell Horoscope and also the Astrological Journal, and was kind enough to send me a copy of her brilliant book: Postcards to the Future, Mercurial Musings 1995-2021.

Nothing could prepare me for how binge-worthy this book would be, I highly recommend buying this for your collection – it's not the typical 'cook book' but a compilation of interesting stories, personal experiences and astrological wonderings from an exceptionally talented and enquiring mind. I love it!

But of course, I am a fan girl – I've recommended Anne's work on this podcast before so you can imagine how excited I was when she agreed to be a guest on The Stellium Astrology Podcast!

We've all heard people using the terminology, but what exactly is the retrograde shadow period and is it exclusive to Mercury?

According to astrologers, there is more than one definition for a shadow period and I attempt to clarify this for you all – as Mercury is in his pre-shadow and entering retrograde motion!

As this is the case, apologies if I don't actually offer a decent explanation. This is an enhanced podcast episode so I had to go do a lot of editing as there were a few mercurial mistakes – pretty sure you can cut me some slack given the current planetary weather.

What does the shadow period mean to you? Have you recognised events connected to the retrograde period beginning and concluding during the shadow?

This week I decided to explore a listener chart as Karis is having a bit of a difficult time and I thought it would a a good chart to look at and try to shed some light on the planets currently transiting her chart.

I also look at her Solar Arc directed chart and her progressed chart – we've looked at Solar Arc before but have't explored progressions just yet.

As you can see, Karis is undergoing a few transits which are causing her to question her direction and where she focusses her time and energy, while also undergoing some pretty major transits which trigger some deep personal exploration.

Are you having similar transits/experiences to Karis right now?

Tell me in the comments!

(btw, Venus is never more than 47° and Mercury is never more than 28° away from the Sun. I couldn't remember the exact number during today's episode.)

Following on from last week's episode, the first part of this Spiritual Toolkit segment of TSAP, I decided to try something new and record a guided meditation.

It's by no means perfect but as it's the first time I sat down to record anything like this for you guys I think I did a pretty good job!

It's probably advisable to be in a comfortable and relaxing place rather than driving a car while listening to this episode.

I also bid a very sad farewell to a tutor and mentor of mine, Sue Merlyn Farebrother.

Let me know what you think of the guided meditation – did it help you to feel more relaxed and grounded?

Do you also carry tension in your butt cheeks? 🍑 🤣

I was inspired to record this week's episode after a conversation I had with a friend of mine who has a Pisces stellium including her Moon.

We discussed some cleansing, grounding and protecting techniques that she could use to 'protect' her super absorbent lunar placement.

I saw this great quote when sourcing the links for this episode which pretty much sums up part of what I'm saying:

"If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration" Nikola Tesla

Anyway, this week I discuss 'Auric Hygiene' (did I coin this term?!) and next week I'll talk about grounding and protecting and offer some tips on how to do this with little disruption to your day!

Do you feel exhausted or charged when spending time with others? What is your Moon sign?

p.s: This episode was recorded in two parts and as is always the way, this was no accident in a planetary sense. I started recording 26° Scorpio was prominent, and finished recording a few days later when the Moon was at 29° Pisces. What I find fascinating is the fact these degrees are that of my late-grandmother's Sun and Ascendant respectively, and she got a big mention during this episode!

Thank goodness I decided to record this podcast episode in advance – I've lost my voice and sound like Lemmy from Motorhead!

As explained in today's episode, I received an email a few days ago which immediately inspired me to record an episode and I just so happened to have the free time. Wonderful!

Have you ever noticed yourself fired up and it coinciding with a Mars transit? Particularly your Mars Square? I'd love to hear about it!

Thanks to Kathryn for submitting your chart details – if you'd like to have your chart featured on the podcast, please submit it by joining my mailing list and following the steps (link below).

Prince Harry has always been my favourite royal.

When his engagement to Meghan Markle was announced I was intrigued – other than the fact she was an actress on a show called Suits I didn't really know much about her (so of course I did a lot of googling).

When cooing about his romance with Megan, Harry stated "the stars were aligned" and he wasn't wrong; there's something wonderfully poignant about their astrological synastry.

Even more compelling is their planetary interplay with the Queen's natal chart.

Are you a fan of Harry and Meghan? Are you a Uranian anti-establishment Aquarian type or a Saturnian fan of tradition and heirarchy?
