Tonight, Stephanie shares a bit of information about the 15 Departments of the United States that fall under the Executive Branch of Government, local and state governments and the Electoral College. Stephanie also shares the early voting dates in the states/territories. She encourages you to recheck the dates with the state board of elections in your state.

Tonight, Stephanie gives us a bit of information of the three branches of government: The Executive, Judicial and Legislative Branches. She also reminds us to register to vote, check your voter registration to ensure you are active and make a plan to vote!

Minister Humphrey encourages us to do our own research and vote for who we trust to lead our country forward. Stephanie shares a bit of news about the VP Presidential debate set for Oct. 1 with CBS. Covid-19 cases have decreased significantly, but some are still hospitalized and dying from this illness. Stephanie encourages us to be vigilant in staying safe!

The following three deaths are shared: Disney is sued over the death of Dr. Kanokporn Tangsuan. Mr. Wallace "Wally" Amos, the founder of Famous Amos cookies, passes away due to a battle with dementia. Ms. Ajike Owens is shot and killed by a neighbor after inquiring about an incident with her children.

The Paris Olympics are over.

In this teaching, Minister Humphrey shares a tad bit of history about the pledge of allegiance and how "under God" came to be in the pledge. She shares how, in its current state, the US is not living up to his stance that it is a nation under God.

Minister Humphrey further reads 2 Chronicles 6:12-42 and 2 Chronicles 7:11-22 and shares a bit about how Solomon's prayer is very much needed today.
