In life, we all have the ups and downs, joy and sadness. But what do we do when we're trapped in sadness? Depression affects the lives of many people. Therefore looking at the mental health and spiritual perspective can provide us with hope and help to cope with the pain.

At St. John's Youth, we're continuing our series on Battle Studies, but now we're moving from the Armour of God to the battles that we face every day. How do we face battles in life? From the suggestions of Youth, we asked them what is a Battle they're facing? 

This week it was this question. 

‘How should we know when to take the Bible literally and when to regard it as having changed because of the context?’

One of our own volunteer Youth Leaders, Edwin, shares how to equip this piece of armour as we take a stand against the devil's schemes.

What is righteousness? Why do I need with God, and why do I need to know about in the battle against the Devil? 

Righteousness is being good with God. Forgiven, perfect and Holy. When we understand what Jesus has done for us, we defuse the accusations that Satan hurls at us.
