Take care of you and the rest will follow. Housing the presence of God first starts with how well you steward YOU. New Age religion brings about the importance of self-care but the bible brought it up first. "Love others as you love YOURSELF" Matthew 22:39 

Choosing you is holy too! A better you produces a better quality of life which, ultimately, glorifies God! Praying that your internal cup is filled as you set out to fill others.

This was a lot...However (comma) there was more than enough in between that will hold me over for the next couple of weeks. Lol

I take some necessary time to think through what emotional safety means to me. I process through my defense mechanisms, how I perceive love, and some practical steps I could take to help that emotional wall come down so I can actually build trust within new relationships.
