After spending two years researching dozens of school shootings, Travis began drafting proposals aimed at both preventing violence and saving lives. But it was a visit to Uvalde and witnessing the pain firsthand that became a turning point. Driven to do more, Travis launched his nonprofit, nonpartisan organization to champion school safety policies and advocate for legislation requiring Stop the Bleed kits in schools.
