Life in the Spirit is what God intends for every Christian.

Christian truth is designed to lead us to God, not to serve as a substitute for God.

Read 1 John 1:5-10 – what is it saying about forgiveness and how it is applied? Or why forgiveness would not be applied? Read James 5:16 – why is confession of sin directly related to the effectiveness of prayer?

To take the next step into a deeper life, how do all these verses convict you to move forward in your faith? What actions do you plan to take?

Palm Sunday is about Jesus purifying & reorienting worship.

People are often attracted to Christian community before they are attracted to the Christian message.

Families do argue and fight, but they do not stop being families as a result—they have to find ways of working things out. It’s not about the place, but about worship in spirit & truth. If it was about the place, we would pilgrimage to Jerusalem. Gospel ministry is not about the place, but about the gospel.

Involvement in society is best done with other Christians.
